The definitive Maldives honeymoon.
The Maldives is the shortest luxury holiday an Indian traveller can take. It's a four-hour flight from every metro, English is universal, the resort takes over from the moment you land, and by lunchtime on day one you're in an overwater villa with a private pool. Four nights is the sweet spot — long enough to feel unplugged, short enough that the price stays reasonable.
This package is designed as a honeymoon or milestone-anniversary escape. It's not for children (most premium Maldivian resorts are adult-only, and the ones that aren't dilute the honeymoon feel). It's not for adventure travellers either — you're on one small island for four days, and the joy of the trip is that there is nothing to do. Sleep, swim, snorkel, eat, spa, sunset, dinner, repeat.
The pace is the point. Late check-outs are pre-arranged. Mornings are yours on the villa deck; one experience anchors the middle of the day (spa, snorkel, sandbank picnic); evenings run on candlelight. Every dinner is a private table for two on the beach or over the water. The seaplane arrival — 30 minutes over turquoise atolls — is a highlight, not a hassle.
The luxury level is the destination itself. You'll stay four nights at the Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve — the Maldives' most awarded resort for marine life, spa and dining. Every villa has a private pool. Rooms range from beach villas to overwater bungalows with sea view. Lower tiers use Anantara Kihavah or W Maldives; ultra-luxury tier upgrades to Soneva Fushi or Cheval Blanc Randheli.
Honeymooners get every romantic set-piece pre-arranged. A flower-bath arrival, a floating breakfast on your villa pool, a private sandbank picnic (dropped off by boat, picked up at sunset), a couples' spa in the overwater spa pavilion, and a final-night dinner served in your villa with a private chef.
Food is a real feature. The Four Seasons has six restaurants — Blu (Italian overwater), Sea.Fire.Salt.Sky (rooftop), Al Barakat (Arabic), Fuego (Argentine), a Japanese omakase and an all-day beach club. Vegetarian, Jain and NOG diets are trivially catered — most Maldivian resorts have Indian chefs on rotation.
The Maldives is a marine destination. Baa Atoll is the only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the country, home to Hanifaru Bay — one of the world's best manta-ray and whale-shark sites (June to November). A guided snorkel with resident marine biologists is included. Non-swimmers get a fully equipped house-reef 30 metres from the villa.
Photographically, the standout frames write themselves: overwater villa deck at sunrise, seaplane approach shot, sandbank picnic, and villa-pool floating breakfast. A half-day resort photographer add-on is available.
Seasonally, November to April is dry season and the classic honeymoon window. May to October is wet season with short daily showers — a real value window, and the manta season peaks August to October. Peak: Christmas and New Year (add ₹45,000–65,000 per person). The route works year-round.
Every element is customisable — add nights, upgrade the villa, extend to Dubai (3 hours away) or Bali (via SIN), or combine with a pre-Maldives Singapore stopover for a two-country honeymoon.

What our travellers are saying.
Real feedback from honeymooners.
“Sandbank picnic was the trip highlight. Being dropped on a bare island for the day is genuinely unlike anything else.”
“Peak-season pricing but worth every rupee. The overwater spa is a real spa. Come for the marine biologist snorkel.”
“Wet season pricing saved us ₹80,000. Rain was 20 min a day. Mantas at Hanifaru were unreal — book the add-on.”
“Added Dubai for 3 nights before. Two very different luxury weeks in one holiday, one booking, one specialist. Recommended.”
