“The Ju-Ma-Na cave dinner is unlike anything we've done before. The Melukat blessing was our favourite moment of the whole trip.”

A honeymoon that isn't just a room upgrade.
Most Bali honeymoons are the same trip with rose petals thrown on the bed. This route is written differently. Every hotel is a private-pool villa property with butler service. Every dinner is a table set for two. Every day has one shared experience and one private moment — a couples' spa in Ubud, a private catamaran in Nusa Dua, a candlelit dinner on your Uluwatu cliff.
The route splits Bali into three moods. Ubud opens the trip in the green highland — riverside villas, spa rituals and a temple-blessing ceremony that most couples describe as the trip's emotional peak. Nusa Dua sits in the middle for the beach days: reef swimming, a private catamaran sunset and gentler surf than Uluwatu. Uluwatu closes the honeymoon on a clifftop — the most photographed sunset in Asia, a Bulgari or Alila pool villa, and a farewell dinner suspended over the ocean.
The itinerary is designed for freshly-married Indian couples. It is not for backpackers, not for party crowds and not for families on this route — the alternative Bali Luxury Escape is a better match for those. This is deliberately quiet, deliberately paced, and deliberately built around privacy: villa dinners, private cars, no crowded excursions.
The pace is slow. Late check-outs are pre-arranged at all three properties. Mornings are yours for a slow breakfast on the pool deck; one experience anchors the middle of the day; evenings run on candlelight. The two internal transfers (Ubud → Nusa Dua, Nusa Dua → Uluwatu) are 90 minutes and 30 minutes respectively, both scenic drives.
The luxury level is signature. You will stay at Como Shambhala Estate or Four Seasons Sayan in Ubud, The St. Regis Bali or Ritz-Carlton Nusa Dua on the beach, and Alila Villas Uluwatu or Bulgari Uluwatu on the cliff. All three have complimentary honeymoon amenities — bath drawn on arrival, cake in-villa, sparkling wine — pre-briefed by the specialist. Suite upgrades and in-villa breakfasts are complimentary on the Honeymoon tier.
Food is central. Kaum for a modern-Balinese welcome dinner, Locavore for a chef's tasting menu, Sundara for a beachfront lunch, and Ju-Ma-Na for a farewell dinner in a cave suspended off the Bulgari cliff. Vegetarian, Jain and NOG diets are pre-briefed with every kitchen. Every dinner is set for a private table for two.
The romantic set-pieces are what most couples come back for. A traditional Melukat water blessing at Tirta Empul, performed for you as a couple, is more meaningful than any Instagram shot. A private catamaran sunset in Jimbaran, with champagne and canapés, is our most-booked add-on. And the Uluwatu villa dinner — a private chef, a table on your cliff, and a violinist if you want one — is the closing memory.
Photographically, this package is built to be shot. The rice-paddy villa at Como Shambhala, the infinity pool at St. Regis Nusa Dua, the clifftop-villa deck at Alila or Bulgari, and Uluwatu Temple at sunset are all pre-scheduled photograph opportunities. A half-day photographer add-on is available.
Seasonally, honeymooners tend to travel in May, June or September for dry weather and quieter resorts. April and October are also excellent. December to February is wet season with short afternoon showers — surprisingly popular for the price, and rain doesn't touch your in-villa moments. The route works year-round; the specialist recommends the dates based on your wedding date.
Every element is customisable. Add nights, upgrade to Aman Villa in Ubud, swap Nusa Dua for a Gili Islands boat trip, or extend with 4 nights in the Maldives for a two-country honeymoon — one of our most popular combinations.

What honeymooners are saying.
Feedback from couples who travelled this exact route.
“Bulgari was worth every rupee. The catamaran sunset was pure movie-magic. Everything was pre-arranged; we made zero decisions.”
“The specialist actually asked about our wedding date to time the trip. Every dinner was set for two — no group tables, no rushed service.”
“We added the Maldives extension — best decision. Two-country honeymoon, one specialist, one payment.”
“Como Shambhala's spa is a real spa, not a resort spa. The 2.5-hour couples' ritual is the highlight.”
